The aligners improve smile appearance, correct dentoalveolar posterior crossbites, increase arch length, relieve crowding, and provide more space for tooth alignment. Dentoalveolar expansion is a preferred alternative to interproximal tooth reduction when treating a patient using the Invisalign clear appliance. |
