This study thus proposes to investigate the effects of job stress on teachers' productivity in Katuna Town Council, Uganda. The objectives of the study were to find out the forms of job stressors at work on teachers' productivity in primary schools; to identify the effect of teachers' emotional stress on productivity in primary schools; to suggest possible strategies to address teachers' job stress for productivity in primary schools of Katuna Town Council of Kabale District. The study was significant to the primary school teachers, Headteachers, other civil servants, and public servants of Katuna town council, Uganda, and the whole world,d especially on stressors, causes, and strategies to overcome stress. The study will use a quantitative design incorporating a descriptive survey approach. The target population was institutional employees in Katuna town council, Kabale – Uganda. Sampling will involve simple random sampling to select 108 participants from 127 target populations who were the teachers and Headteachers of Primary Schools in Kaduna Town Council. Data collection tools will involve the use of structured questionnaires and structured observation checklists to collect both quantitative data. Data analysis will involve the use of descriptive analysis involving the use of frequencies, tables, graphs, and pie charts. The study findings showed that the different forms of job stressors such as excessive workload, lacking instructional resources, disruptive student behaviors, school's administrative pressure, parents and community members' high academic expectations, balancing work with personal life, limited access to opportunities for professionalism, job instability with uncertain salary and frequent staff changes and lack of school leadership support affected teachers productivity in Primary schools of Katuna Town Council of Kabale District. The effect of Teachers' emotional stress on Productivity included reduced teacher enthusiasm and engagement in teaching, challenging classroom and learning environment management, a feeling of dissatisfaction, and reduced stability on duty. The possible strategies to address Teachers' job stress for Productivity included schools adjusting duty allocated loads, engaging teachers in professional development programs, schools encouraging and supporting flexible scheduling of duties, school creating a supportive and collaborative school environment, schools reviewing and adjusting school policies and rewarding teachers' hard work and achievements could boost their morale reducing the stress levels and focusing on improving their output. Conclusively, a primary school teacher in Kaduna Town Council had different job stressors that were deficient in their teaching output. The study recommended that school administrators to stressors aware to teachers and support them gain skills in stress management to enhance their duty input and output.
