Transition of farmland use system towards urban-rural integration: From localization to de-localization

[Results] Based on the perspective of land system science, this paper explains the conceptual connotation of farmland use system transition; constructs an academic discourse on the localization and de-localization transition of farmland use system; analyzes the stage changes of China’s urban-rural relationship from rural China to urban-rural China, and the transition logic of the farmland use system in the corresponding stage; and proposes that the “re-localization” and “hybridization” will jointly constitute the next evolution cycle of China’s farmland use system transition under the integrated development of urban and rural areas. …”
