Deformations and seepage-induced erosion of fractured rocks in fault under confined settings by Wenbin SUN, Dianjin TIAN, Cheng MA, Yanchao XUE, Can YANG, Kaipeng ZHU

Published 2025-01-01
“…Comparison before and after loading and seepage revealed that the fractal dimension (D) was inversely proportional to the value of n and the masses of fine and coarse particles increased and decreased, respectively. …”

Dissolved Mn(III) is a key redox intermediate in sediments of a seasonally euxinic coastal basin by R. Klomp, R. Klomp, O. M. Żygadłowska, M. S. M. Jetten, V. E. Oldham, N. A. G. M. van Helmond, N. A. G. M. van Helmond, C. P. Slomp, C. P. Slomp, W. K. Lenstra, W. K. Lenstra

Published 2025-02-01
“…Modeled benthic release of Mn mainly occurs as dMn(III)-L when bottom waters are oxic, as Mn(II) upon initial bottom-water euxinia and as both Mn(II) and dMn(III)-L when the euxinia becomes persistent. …”

Controlled bottom-up synthesis and characterization of crystalline and amorphous lead(II) coordination polymers: Sonochemical methods, structure–property relationship, and photocat... by Saeedeh Ebad Sichani, Mohammad Jaafar Soltanianfard, Alison Zamanpour, Payam Hayati, Jan Janczak, Zahed Karimi-Jaberi

Published 2025-03-01
“…The 3D coordination polymers of lead (II) [Pb4(O)(L)3(H2O)]n, where H2L = C6H4(CO2H)2 (benzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid), were synthesized in crystalline (1(a, b)) and amorphous (2(a, b)) phases. …”

A Low Complexity Dual-Phase Alternating Scheme is Used With the PTS Method to Reduce PAPR for B5G Systems by Yung-Ping Tu, Chen-Wei Hsu

Published 2025-01-01
“…In the UFMC example, when the complementary cumulative distribution function (CCDF) is <inline-formula> <tex-math notation="LaTeX">$10^{-4}$ </tex-math></inline-formula>, compared with the original waveform, the PTS scheme, and the SLM scheme, the PAPR performance of the proposed scheme is improved by about 2.74, 1.87, and 0.35 dB respectively. Of course, our proposed method’s bit error rate (BER) consistently outperforms the original waveform due to a valid PAPR reduction that weakens nonlinear distortion from the power amplifier.…”
