R-loops acted on by RNase H1 influence DNA replication timing and genome stability in Leishmania
Published 2025-02-01“…Leishmania, a human protozoan parasite, displays an unconventional DNA replication program in which the timing of DNA replication completion is chromosome size-dependent: larger chromosomes complete replication later then smaller ones. Here we show that both R-loops and RNase H1, a ribonuclease that resolves RNA-DNA hybrids, accumulate in Leishmania major chromosomes in a pattern that reflects their replication timing. …”

Retention of locally injected human iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes into the myocardium using hydrolyzed gelatin
Published 2025-02-01“…The solubility of HG allows precise control over its concentration, influencing the distribution and leakage of injected solutions, which may affect therapeutic outcomes. Using both ex vivo and in vivo rat models, we investigated how varying HG concentrations affect the retention of solution and diffusion within the myocardium. …”

Arginine methyltransferase PRMT1 promotes ferroptosis through EGR1/GLS2 axis in sepsis-related acute lung injury
Published 2025-02-01“…Here we show, there were elevated ferroptosis and increased expression levels of protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1), early growth response 1 (EGR1), and glutaminase 2 (GLS2) in both in vitro and in vivo ALI models. Additionally, EGR1 was found to induce the transcription of GLS2, thereby promoting ferroptosis. …”

The impact of data from future lepton colliders on light hadrons fragmentation functions
Published 2025-02-01“…We perform analyses of FFs at NLO by including a wide range of pseudo-data from future lepton colliders, such as measurements on hadron multiplicities in the production of two jets and W boson pairs, at various center of mass energies, and from hadronic decays of the Higgs boson, including both to heavy quarks and to gluons. The high luminosity and high energies of future lepton colliders allow for quark flavor separations and ensure a precise determination of FFs based solely on data from electron-positron collisions. …”
