Employees’ attitudes and work-related stress in the digital workplace: an empirical investigation
Published 2025-02-01“…This study examines the complex relationship between digitalization and work-related stress, with a particular emphasis on the impact of both digital activities (i.e., number of actions and virtual meetings) and employees’ attitudes (i.e., job satisfaction, person-organization fit, engagement, and work-life interface) on stress levels.MethodsDrawing on data from Microsoft 365 activity records and an online survey of employees in an Italian AI firm, this study applies Factor Analysis and Generalized Additive Models to analyze the above-mentioned interactions in a highly digitalized context.ResultsFindings indicate that the time–space intensification and extension of the working experience has a significant impact in terms of increasing work-related stress when exceeding certain number of off-hours digital actions and virtual meetings. …”

Spatial-Temporal Variations and Influencing Factors of Water-related Ecosystem Services in Southwest China Under Complex Terrain
Published 2024-12-01“…[Results] (1) From 1992 to 2020, water yield in Southwest China showed a downward trend, with a notable mutation occurring in 2002; soil erosion showed an increasing trend, with a mutation observed in 1997. (2) The water yield decreased and soil erosion increased with rising altitude. (3) The relative contribution rate of precipitation to both water yield and soil erosion in karst areas was found to be greater than that in non-karst areas. …”

Numerical simulation study on coal seam response characteristics of shallow three-electrode laterolog
Published 2025-02-01“…An increase in the dip angle of the coal seam leads to an increase in the apparent thickness of the coal seam following a quadratic function relationship, while an increase in the wellbore radius results in a quadratic function decrease in the apparent resistivity of the coal seam. An increase in both the width and length of the fractures leads to a decrease in apparent resistivity following a power function relationship. …”

Niches and community stability of dominant herbaceous species in the forest and creek ecotone of Dehang Geopark
Published 2024-12-01“…This indicates that the interspecific competition among dominant species in the herbaceous communities of the forest and creek ecotone is weak, and there is not a high degree of similarity in the demand for environmental resources. (2) The overall and interspecific associations of the herbaceous plants in the three streams are mainly characterized by non-significant negative connections, with relatively low interspecific connectivity, and are mostly independently distributed. (3) The community is currently in an unstable state, and the succession and development of the herbaceous community are influenced by both internal and external factors of the community. …”
